St Ann's RC Church Cheadle Hulme

Parish Service Team

The Vision statement of the Parish Service Team: The Parish Service Team, guided by prayer, will join in a collaborative ministry with our priest and parishioners, encouraging our community to grow together and to do God's holy will. We will be open to the views of all parishioners and be receptive to new ideas, enabling our community to support one another and respond to the needs of God's people. Catholic parishes very often have Pastoral Councils or Parish Councils. Here at St Ann's the term Parish Service Team was preferred. A considerable number of initiatives have arisen from the monthly deliberations of the Team, which have then been owned by the parish, after which the Parish Service Team have moved on to other ideas. A regular rotation of membership hopefully ensures that new ideas are always forthcoming. Below are the members of the Parish Service Team.

The team usually meets monthly on the first Thursday at 7.30pm.  Minutes of the meetings are available on the right as you enter the church, on the outer wall.

Members of the team make themselves available once per month after mass for parishioners to raise new matters or discuss anything where they feel the team may be able to assist.  Members are available on the Sunday following the monthly meeting, normally the first Thursday.
